We first create a pointcloud that saves the position values of custom placed objects. Then we generate ThinkingParticles that fly to those saved positions and form an object.

A small little tool that gives you the possibility to have a easy to handle spline that controls a densly subdivided spline that is interactively projected down onto a surface. Uses iterations and the RayCollision node.

This shot turns lights on depending on it's position relative to a plane. If the lights are above the plane they are off, if they are below it they are on. It also takes into account the rotation of the plane. What it does is it converts a position from world to local space. Also htere is a lot of noise added to everything.

We transfer the luminance information from a texture or noise into a Vertexmap using Xpresso.

This has some limitations because reading from UV mappings is not possible in Xpresso but the example is still usefull to get random (and also animated) noises into Vertexmaps
